A Bed Full of Strangers is an adaptation of the British farce written by Dave Freeman. The performance tells the story of two couples on vacation at a guest house in Transylvania, accommodated by mistake in the same room.
Dieter and Brenda arrive in Transylvania precisely during the Lolelor Festival. They are in search of a hotel room, quite impossible to find, and discover the only one available at a beat-up hotel, with strange and careless employees. When Brenda leaves to look for her lost ring, Dieter discovers that the same room was booked by someone else as well. He gets involved in a series of hilarious and unfortunate situations. The room fills with various characters wearing unusual costumes, the hotel manager tries to solve different problems and the doorman messes up the situation even more. When everything turns out well, more or less, the only thing Dieter wishes is that he would have spent his holiday at home, in peace.
