PINK AT B'ESTIVAL 2007!Date: 01 March 2007
Marilyn Manson, Reammon, Alice Cooper, Faithless, Morcheeba, Wu-Tang Clan, Kasabian...and the last hour confirmation: the newest name of the international star list who will sing at the B'estival 2007 is…PINK!
Alicia Beth Moore was nicknamed by Pink since she was a child, she's been grown in a family of musicians, and at the age of only 14 years she began to compose her own songs. The debut album "Can't take me home" was launched in 2000 and it got the platinum disc award twice. Before she started working at the second album, Pink recorded with Christina Aguilera, Mya, Lil'Kim, Missy Elliot, a cover after the famous Patty LaBelle's song " Lady Marmalade ", which was included on the track of " Moulin Rouge " movie, and for which Pink won the Grammy award. The "Missundaztood "album went directly to the first place in the tops and became the best sold single of the artist. " Try this " was launched at the end of 2003 and includes the hits: "Trouble "(the song won the second Grammy in her career), "God is a DJ " and "Last to know ". The most recently disco entry signed by Pink - "I'm not dead" album, released in April 2006 - includes the "Stupid Girls" super-hit, nominated at Grammy awards and won the MTV prize for the best pop video. The "Dear President" single is an open letter addressed to George W. Bush in which the artist exposes her point of view on the American politics.
Organized by Emag!c , B'Estival will take place at the ROMEXPO COMPLEX, open air, on June 29th - July 1st. The subscriptions for the three days of the B'estival at the prize of 180 RON, as well as the VIP tickets at the prize of 300 RON/ day, will be available on the site www.myticket.ro.
